CHRISTMAS HAS ARRIVED AT COSTA!

  • Costa launches limited edition Christmas menu, available in all UK stores from 7th November 2013 until 2nd January 2014
  • For the very first time in the company’s history, Costa introduces FOUR limited edition festive take-away cups

Costa, the UK’s favourite coffee shop, today launches its speciality food and beverage Christmas menu, available in all of Costa’s UK stores throughout the festive season.

Christmas is about to sparkle like never before as this year’s Christmas range of indulgent speciality drinks not only taste great but look amazing too! Each drink has also been created with its own special irresistible topping.

What’s more, for the very first time in the company’s history, Costa will introduce not one, but four very special Christmas-themed take-away cups to its stores this festive season! Featuring a Father Christmas, Snowman, Gingerbread man and Elf, each character provides fans with the perfect, fun photo opportunity!

Each cup design is available in one standard take-away size: Father Christmas (Massimo), Snowman (Medio), Gingerbread man (Primo) and Elf (Espresso/Cortado).

Costa’s speciality beverage menu of six decedent flavours includes: Gingerbread & Cream Latte; Black Forest Hot Chocolate; Honeycomb & Cream Hot Chocolate; White Hot Chocolate & Cream; Salted Caramel & Cream Latte and Hot Spiced Apple.

Alongside a range of luxurious drinks on offer, visitors to Costa this Christmas can enjoy the limited edition Christmas food menu. As well as the return of some much loved Costa Christmas classics, Costa fans will also be spoilt for choice with a range of new limited edition delicious savoury and sweet treats.

Costa customers can also enjoy a selection of limited-edition savoury snacks, including Turkey, Stuffing and Bacon sandwich; Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Panini; Goats Cheese & Christmas Chutney Sandwich and BBQ Pulled Pork Wrap.

To satisfy a sweet tooth, customers can choose from a range of delicious sweet treats, including new Black Forest Fancy, Chocolate Orange Fancy, Marshmellow Chocolate Cupcake, Raspberry and Chocolate Torte. Also making a come back this year are Costa’s Gingerbread Muffin, Honeycomb Crunch, Mince Tart, Chocolate Yule Log, Stollen Bites, Gluten Free Fruitcake Slice and Ruby the Reindeer Gingerbread (Costa’s first ever gingerbread girl!).

Costa is well and truly the place to be for a festive and fun treat this Christmas – not only will customers have to make the difficult choice of which delicious Costa Christmas drink or snack they’d like to try first, they’ll also have a tough decision on their hands as they select their favourite Costa cup character!

And to top it all off, Costa is giving away free mince tarts to customers who order a speciality Christmas drink wearing a Christmas jumper!  Pop in store on Friday 6th December and Friday 13th December between 2.00pm-6.00pm to get your festive treat!

BBQ Pulled Pork Wrap

This winter warmer is made with slow cooked pulled British pork mixed with a sticky BBQ sauce, mozzarella and Cheddar cheese and a pinch of Jalapeno

Gingerbread Muffin

A ginger sponge, with a sticky golden syrup filling, topped with a sweet caramel fondant and hand finished with its very own mini gingerbread man!

Honeycomb Crunch

A crunchy base packed with honeycomb and biscuit pieces, encased in a blend of milk and dark Belgian chocolate, generously topped with Belgian milk chocolate and finished with honeycomb pieces

Mince Tart

An all butter pastry generously filled with premium mincemeat, topped with a pastry Christmas tree decoration, and hand finished with a sprinkle of crunchy flaked almonds and a dusting of sweet snow

Chocolate Yule Log

An extremely rich chocolate sponge with a gooey chocolate sauce filling, topped with chocolate fondant and hand finished with a mini chocolate flake

Stollen Bites

Made in small batches, marzipan is sandwiched by two layers of sweet dough packed with juicy sultanas. The dough is then left to rise before being baked to perfection. The stollen is cut into delicious bite size pieces, before being tossed in butter and sugar, giving it a deliciously moist texture and its signature sweet taste

Gluten-free Fruitcake Slice

Costa’s fruitcake slice is bursting with the highest quality fruit including sultanas, raisins, cherries and dates, with the added bonus of being gluten-free!

Ruby the Reindeer Gingerbread

Named by Costa’s Facebook fans, this hand iced crunchy gingerbread biscuit is Costa’s first ever gingerbread girl!
