TO SUPPORT CHRISTMAS LAUNCH
- Retained agencies, Graphite, Karmarama, Paratus and ZenithOptimedia showcase a multi-media ‘Little Moments of Festive Fun’ programme, which encompasses all key touch-points over the festive season
- Costa is launching limited edition Christmas menu, on Thursday 7th November 2013
Costa, the UK’s favourite coffee shop, has today announced its Christmas multi-media programme ‘Little Moments of Festive Fun’, to support its limited-edition seasonal menu.
The ‘Little Moments of Festive Fun’ campaign will work across all touch-points and reinforce Costa’s commitment to creating a unified experience, which will engage customers from point-of-sale and beyond.
To celebrate ‘Little Moments of Festive Fun’, Costa has for the first time in its history, created four limited-edition cups. Each cup variant comes in one standard size: Father Christmas (Massimo), Snowman (Medio), Gingerbread Man (Primo) and Elf (Espresso/Cortado). The design of the cup has been specifically created to act as a prop – perfect for Costa fans to pose with. The four cups will be in all of Costa’s UK stores from Thursday 7th November 2013 and will remain in store until Thursday 2nd January 2014.
Point-of-sale activity will also include a free mince tart giveaway if a customer enters a Costa store wearing a Christmas jumper and orders a speciality Christmas drink. The promotion will go live on Friday 6th December and Friday 13th December between 2.00pm-6.00pm.
In addition to point-of-sale ‘Little Moments of Festive Fun’ activity, one Costa fan will be provided with an opportunity to win the ‘Ultimate Christmas’, which will run via Costa.co.uk/Christmas. The winner of the ‘Ultimate Christmas’ will receive a wide selection of prizes totalling a value of £15,000. The prize list ranges from a team of professional decorators to make-over the winners home with stunning festive decorations, a family Christmas dinner banquet, unforgettable shopping experiences, the Top 10 children’s toys of 2013, a 3D TV Home entertainment system and lots more.
To be in with a chance to win, fans will be encouraged to upload festive pictures of themselves posing with the limited-edition cups throughout the month of November. All entries uploaded to Costa.co.uk/Christmas will be in with a chance to appear in Costa’s Christmas Out-Of-Home campaign, running from 2nd-22nd December.
The OOH campaign will feature photographs of customers posing with Costa’s limited-edition cups on over 300 digital advertisement walls around the country. The outdoor activity will cover key locations across the UK including London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
Throughout December, Costa fans will have another chance to share their Little Moments of Festive Fun, by creating images and digital Christmas cards at Costa.co.uk using the Christmas characters and festive graphics. There will be daily spot prizes for users posting and sending in the best creations.
