SEA Aeroporti di Milano, operator of Malpensa and Linate airports in Milan, and the Icelandic flight search company Dohop announce the launch of a new flight search on the ViaMilano website, www.flyviamilano.eu.
ViaMilano is a free service that allows you to reach hundreds of international and intercontinental destinations through Milan Malpensa Airport by combining different airlines routes, offered by either low cost or traditional carriers. To help customers complete the booking, Malpensa has partnered with Volagratis, which offers competitive prices without any additional fees.
ViaMilano is powered by Dohop technology, known for finding superior flight connections, especially between low-cost and legacy airlines. As Malpensa is easyJet's first European hub outside the United Kingdom, including a dedicated easyJet terminal, it is ideally suited for connecting Europe to the rest of the world.
Upon landing in Malpensa, a ViaMilano passenger will collect baggage and drop it off at the ViaMilano desk. He will also get a 10 Euro voucher for the participating shops in Malpensa and a free pass for Fast Track, to ensure speedy transit. A free shuttle service is available to change terminals.
“We are very happy with the final project,” says Giulio De Metrio, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO of SEA. “With the Dohop cooperation the ViaMilano website, designed to help travelers from all over the world find airline connections via Malpensa airport in Milan, now offers a faster search of all flights and a reliable service for all passengers.”
“We are very pleased with the opportunity to work with SEA on this project,” says Kristjan Bjarnason, Dohop's CEO. “With our help, they have created an innovative and well thought-out product, allowing for pleasant transit experience in Milano.”
