There’s just a week to go until the Brewhouse Arts Centre welcomes a weekend of live music and comedy as part of its revamped Autumn season programme.
Critically acclaimed comedian Jo Caulfield opens her UK tour “Celebration of Anger” at the Brewhouse on Friday 26th September, before the Union Street venue welcomes local band Kitten Pyramid for a live performance on Saturday 27th September.
Kitten Pyramid’s live performance is a part of the Kitten Pyramid Circus which will see a whole day of arts events taking place between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
The Brewhouse Cafe Bar powered by Derby QUAD will officially open its door to the public on Monday 29th September.
Derby QUAD will bring great food and drink throughout the daytime and evening including Real Ale in partnership with Marstons, locally sourced freshly cooked food, delicious cakes and snacks and hot and cold drinks all served by friendly staff.
The all new cafe bar will be open to the general public daily from 10.00am-8.00pm and later on performance/event nights.
Cllr Robert Hardwick, Deputy Leader for Cultural Services said: “We hope that this fantastic weekend of performances, which culminates with the opening of the new café bar, shows people how well the partnership with QUAD is working.
“We hope that performances of this calibre are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what we can offer in the future, and that the new café bar will become a vibrant community hub for the people of East Staffordshire to use for many years to come”.
Tickets are now available for both performances by calling the Brewhouse Box Office on 01283 509100 or tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.brewhouse.co.uk. You will also be able to find café bar information, including the new menu and a full list of opening times.
