DASH along to scorching summer holiday activities from ESBC

Residents can access the brochure in a number of ways, either by visiting our website, or by collecting a brochure from the nearest ESBC Leisure Centre or the Brewhouse Arts Centre. You can now also join our mailing list by subscribing to our E-Newsletter.

Some of the highlighted activities this summer include:

Dodgeball Road Shows Learn how to play the sport through having the chance to learn different ways of playing the game. Gain the knowledge to organise your own small games of Dodgeball with your friends, and gain a mini dodge ball leaders qualification.

Sport In The Hood - A free, fun filled programme of sports activities. Sport In The Hood will be coming to a location near you, with sessions held across Burton, Uttoxeter and rural East Staffordshire.

Learn To Cycle – This summer we are offering children of all ages the opportunity to learn to cycle. From infant balanceability courses to junior Bikeability level 1 and level 2 courses, our instructors will have you riding in no time. 

Star Trac Athletics - Come and enjoy this three day course full of various athletic events. Come and try an event that you have never done before, or come and improve your technique under the instruction of our expert coaching staff. Available at Shobnall Leisure Complex.

Digital Academy – Come along to the Brewhouse Arts Centre and learn how to make your very own short film and music track in our editing studio. 

Councillor Robert Hardwick, Deputy Leader for Cultural Services said: “As always we aim to offer a wide range of activities in a safe, friendly and fun environment to keep children entertained during the summer holidays. This programme demonstrates our commitment to helping to improve the health and wellbeing of young people in East Staffordshire through the Healthy Borough Initiative.”
