East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Sports Development team will be delivering a 6 week block of Dodgeball sessions which have been funded by Sports England’s Sportivate initiative.
The 6 week block of Dodgeball sessions is aimed at 11 – 16 year olds and will take place at Shobnall Leisure Complex on Tuesday evenings between 5pm – 6pm. The first session takes place on, Tuesday 7th October with each session costing £1.00 per person.
Cllr Robert Hardwick, Deputy Leader for Cultural Services said: “Dodgeball is a great fun sport to play for all abilities, with easy to learn rules. It is a regular sport activity and contributes to Council achieving its healthy borough objective.
“Sessions will be delivered by qualified Level 2 UK Dodgeball Association coaches, who will deliver a number of fun practices for all to learn new skills which can be used in the game of Dodgeball, each session will finish with some fun competitive games”.
