The increasing desire for a less stressful society with a different pace was the basic source of inspiration for Eco Dimensions. From geometric shapes to photo art set against tactual, monochrome backgrounds, this is a wallpaper collection that encourages taking the time to contemplate Life.
With nature and our common origin in mind, Eco Wallpaper’s designer created patterns that give the home a personal and minimalistic touch that put things into perspective. Inspired by society’s growing concern for our environment, the patterns have transformed nature’s surfaces to graphic, faceted patterns that are sometimes in watercolour, sometimes transparent, always with a high design level.
– I wanted to create a collection that was both poetic and graphic yet with a Scandinavian sensitivity that reflect the importance of nature, explains Ulrika Hurtig, head designer.
Photography as a piece of art is a rapidly growing trend and especially photographic expressions from our natural environment. The collection features a series of digital nature prints taken by freelance photographer Dan Isaac Wallin.
Eco Dimensions is available in stores from December 11. The collection features a total of 30 prints, 9 Mineral, 4 Plain and 6 digital designs.
