Level 5 rating for food hygiene awarded to ellenor

Following a recent visit from Gravesham Borough Council on 4 July 2019, ellenor has been awarded the highest possible rating for the safety, quality and hygiene standards of its food catering services at ellenor Coldharbour Road, Gravesend. Ever since the Environmental Health department introduced this scheme in 2011, Kent charity ellenor has consistently held a rating of 5 since the scheme was introduced.

Under the Food Safety Act 1990, environmental health inspectors are required to inspect food premises according to the Food Standards Agency Code of Practice The rating goes from zero to five. The five rating credits food businesses that achieve very good food hygiene standards
