Martina Bisello is a research officer in the Employment unit at Eurofound. She currently works on developing a set of indicators to monitor socioeconomic convergence in the European Union in a range of dimensions, including employment. Her research interests also include gender gaps in the labour market and the effects of technological change on the economy. Prior to joining Eurofound in 2014, she was visiting researcher at the Centre for Market and Public Organisation at the University of Bristol and at the Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of Essex. She holds an MSc in International Economics from the University of Padova and a PhD in Economics (Doctor Europaeus mention) from the University of Pisa.
