Helsinki-based company Unmonday which designs and markets intelligent audio systems has signed a distribution deal with Apple for its model 4.3. Unmonday's speaker systems will be sold in selected Apple stores in Europe, in Apple's online shop, and in the near future they are also expected to be distributed to Singapore and Malaysia. Sales Director Jukka Nieminen told to Kauppalehti that the agreement with Apple is significant one in many ways since Apple's distribution network enables the company to reach customers who are interested in their product.

Unmonday was started in 2011 and it is headed by former Nokia headset designer Jarkko Jämsén. The company recently launched world's first multi-channel wireless ceramic speakers. Their speakers stream audio from Apple iPhone, Apple iPod, Apple iPad or Mac using Wi-Fi. Due to its wireless nature, the speaker system works even when there's no network coverage.
