Press release -

Oumph! - Finalist in three categories in the World Food Innovation Awards

Multi-award winning plant-based Oumph! is receiving further recognition within the global food scene, and is now a finalist with their popular Pulled Oumph! in no less than three categories in the World Food Innovation Awards.

Pulled Oumph! is a finalist in the following categories: Best Foodservice/Catering Product, Best Plant-Based Product and Best Street Food Brand.

"It is fantastic to see that Oumph! is competing in the global market and far beyond the plant-based sector. We feel very honoured to be a finalist in these three important categories. We see this as further evidence that with our sharp focus on taste and food appeal we continue to drive the green protein shift forward", says Henrik Åkerman, Marketing Director at Food for Progress.

FoodBev Media Senior Marketing Executive Matt Ferris comments:

"The prominence of plant-based products such as Oumph! in our mainstream categories shows the increasing demand for flexitarian options in both on-trade and off-trade markets. The World Food Innovation Awards really showcase some of the most ambitious new products and developments of the year from both new and established brands".

The World Food Innovation Awards is one of the most established award schemes in the industry. The winners will be announced as part of a special ceremony at the Talking Trends stage, within The International Food & Drink Event (IFE) at the ExCeL, London, at 1:30pm on 18 March.

Apart from the three finalist places in the World Food Innovation Awards, three Oumph! product are currently also shortlisted in the FreeFrom Food Awards, and the brand has been nominated in the Best Vegan Brand category at the Veggie Awards!
