For Coffee on the Go - Go to Google!

With the success of the Google Coffee Lab launched in 2012, Google were now faced with the challenge of keeping all those caffeine hungry Googlers happy with great coffee on the move.
Here at Greencup we love a challenge and with the help of Adam who is an expert at putting spent coffee to a good cause we designed the first ever Coffee Trike.

Made in the UK and designed for Google the coffee trike boasts the following features;

  • Stylish Single group San Remo 'Milano' coffee machine and a SR50 grinder.
  • The machine and trike panels are made from coffee surface and consist of 15 kilos of coffee and recycled plastics - over 2,000 espressos were drunk to make the panels!
  • The Trike is as stylish as it is functional with a hand stretched leather seat for comfort and a Brick Lane Panier for storing cups and coffee, all made by Brook England, leather specialists since 1866.
  • A special limited edition green wireless Jam box to match the trike's Android colour frame and can be used for broadcasting & music.
  • Coffee surface tablet mount and tablet to inspire Googlers with coffee descriptions and videos while in the queue for for a cup.
The trike is the latest feature for Google Central St.Giles and will be used for serving small meetings and events. With this in mind we reduced the frames to ensure the trike can be ridden around small offices and through all doors and lifts.

Tried and tested by our own Coffee Barista Mathew Keech who has not only ridden it around but also made amazing coffees on it (not at the same time of course), we are happy to announce that Google are first ever offices to have a functional coffee trike made out of recycled coffee.
