Man charged with Ocean Village Co-op burglary in Southampton

A man has been charged with burglary after the Co-op on Ocean Way was broken into on July 4.

We were called at 12.43am on July 4 to a report of a burglary at the Co-op Store in Ocean Village.

Damage was caused to the front door and cigarette cabinets.

Officers deployed to the area and arrested a man a few minutes later.

Today (July 5) Daniel Slack, 26, of International Way, Southampton has been charged with burglary.

He will appear before Southampton Magistrates today.
