Arrests made following public order in Leigh Park

Officers investigating a large public order incident in Leigh Park Sunday (8 July) have arrested two people.

A number of people were involved in dangerous driving and dangerous cycling, including driving on the wrong sides of roads and blocking roads in the Leigh Park area.

A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Havant have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and grievous bodily harm. The 17-year-old has also been arrested on suspicion of assault a constable. Both people have been released from custody but remain under investigation.

A 19-year-old man from Havant was arrested but has since been released with no further action.
