See it, hear it, smell it and taste it. imagineear is set to help international visitors enjoy Amsterdam’s unique Heineken Experience

Amsterdam.  The Heineken Experience has chosen imagineear to provide a branded multimedia-tour in multiple languages to open before the end of the year, and which complements the current self-guided, interactive journey through the dynamic world of Heineken.

The tour will be supplied on imagineear's mediaPacker platform and will present rich content, including audio, interviews, archive video material and interactive elements.  The existing English-language films in the exhibition will be synchronised in multiple languages.

The Heineken Experience is housed in the former brewery premises in the centre of Amsterdam, and opened as a visitor attraction in 2001.  Since then, it has become a must-see top 5 attraction in Amsterdam where visitors learn about the brewing process and the history of Heineken and, if old enough, they are invited to taste and appreciate the beers.  imagineear is delighted to help Heineken enhance the visitor experience even further.

About The Heineken Experience

The Heineken Experience is located in the former Heineken Brewery in the city centre of Amsterdam. The building is a national monument and listed in the European route of Industrial Heritage. In 1988 Heineken stopped brewing at this location, and the site was completely renovated and turned into the Heineken Experience. The attraction opened its doors for the first time in 2001, and has welcomed over four million people from around the world, the majority of whom are from the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil and Italy. The tour is a 1½ hour self-guided, interactive journey through the dynamic world of Heineken.

Opening times 2012

  • 11.00 to 19.30 daily, with last tickets sold at 17.30
  • 10:30 - 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays in June, July and August, with last tickets sold at 19:00
  • Early closure on 24 and 31 December at 16.00 hrs, with last tickets sold at 14.30
  • Closed on 1 January, 30 April and 25 December
  • Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
