Thorsten Hiebenthal, Berner & Mattner’s Head of Transportation Systems, said: “For more than 10 years Berner & Mattner has been a reliable development partner for the railway industry. We’re specialized in specification, development and testing of electronic systems and manage sophisticated projects for railway operators and manufacturers of railway systems. The services we provide to our customers primarily cover the areas of procurement, development, and homologation. We’re proud to be able to provide our wide range of development services to numerous leading companies in the rail sector. In many projects we assumed responsibility for the development of entire systems. Our membership to Assystem – a leading international engineering service provider with headquarters in France - enables us now to take on projects with higher volume and outside Germany. The International Rail Infrastructure and Technology Summit (IRITS) 2013 gives us the opportunity to get in contact with senior executives from the world’s key rail operators, infrastructure management companies and governments.”
