Cutting edge machinery gives a complete agriculture spring range

S & P Federnwerk, a German company in the Lesjöfors Group, has made substantial investments in new fully automated machinery. This ensures a complete offer of spring products to the agricultural machinery market.

S & P Federnwerk in Nisterau, Germany manufactures springs primarily for the agricultural industry. The company has in 2015 implemented a comprehensive investment program in the latest machinery. The new straightening machine offers more operating convenience and improves working conditions significantly. Furthermore, an important objective for 2015 is achieved; the new machine allows straightening and cut-off of rods with a wire diameter of up to 14 mm at the plant in Nisterau.

A complete spring offer
In combination with a custom made winding machine, installed and in operation since August 2015, S & P´s range of products has successfully been broadened. From now on the OEM (Original Equip-ment Manufacturer) of agricultural machinery will have the option of deliveries of rake tines in the new diameter besides hay-bob, pick-up and other spring tines.
“Together with the powder coating facility at our production plant, OEM of agricultural machinery will benefit from S & P Federnwerk´s complete in-house vertical range of manufacture. Using premium raw material, extensive know-how and many years of experience in spring tines manufacturing ensure a just in time delivery of high quality products”, says Dennis Müller, MD of S & P Federnwerk.
