"Tree of Life" - Schreur to paint a large mural in a Carehome, assisted by three residents. Life is Beautiful. Always.

Marcel Schreur, the original Dutch artist, will be creating a "Tree of Life" mural at Anchor's Molesey Carehome next week. He will be assisted by three residents, former artists Janet(77), Sheila(78) and Brian(80). Schreur will be guided by their experience and patience creating happy thoughts and memories for everyone involved. Once finished the 6x8 foot mural will be showing the names of all the residents on especially prepared leaves. 

"The tree of life" brings back fond memories to Schreur as it was his first ever painting which he finished after his daughters wedding. He loves to share and interact with the elderly. He says "They are an important source of inspiration and timeless experience. To make them happy with this gesture warms my heart. It reminds me that "Life is beautiful. Always".

After a very busy first third of the year,with work shown in Central London,the US,Japan and Italy,I am now exploring new avenues in my art.The very successful Supermodel and abstract series will continue to develop.A new studio in Wonersh is up and running and I am looking to create more conceptual pieces there.The studio in Kingston used for landscape and Supermodels. Living"the life". Exciting.

Marcel Schreur loves sunrise and sunset. He says "At the start but especially at the end of every day a good sunset works wonders with me. It is humbling and reminds me of our position in life. I can rest assured. Today is gone, tomorrow is a brand-new day. New challenges but also new opportunities. I can bow my head and surrender.
