Appeal after shot fired at property in Old Swan

Detectives in Liverpool are investigating after a shot was fired in Old Swan on Sunday (2 June).

Officers were called to Herrick Street at around 1.20pm to reports a shot had been fired at a property. There was no damage caused to the property and there are no reports of anyone being injured at this time.

The house was cordoned off while forensic examinations were carried out and house to house enquiries are underway. CCTV from the area will also be examined.

At this early stage of the investigation, the motive for the incident is unknown but officers are following a number of lines of enquiry.
