Appeal for witnesses following incident in Wright Street, Wallasey

We are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Wright Street, Wallasey this morning, Tuesday 16th July.

At just after 7am a report was received of three males in an alleyway making threats to the occupants of a house. One of the males was reportedly in possession of a firearm.

Nobody was injured during the incident and there is no evidence of a firearm having been discharged.

House-to-house and CCTV enquiries have been carried out in the local area.

We are now keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around Wright Street who may have seen the three males or witnessed the disturbance to get in touch.

Detective Inspector Nick Suffield said: “I would ask anyone who was in the area of Wright Street who saw anything or any motorists who believed they captured something on dash cam footage to get in touch as they may having information which is vital to our investigation.”
