House burgled by four masked men - do you know the offenders?

Merseyside Police are appealing for the public to come forward with any information following a burglary on Firdale Road, Walton in the early hours of this morning (11^th February). 

Officers were called to a residential property just before 2.15am to reports that the occupants house had been broken into by four men.

The occupant confronted the men, where they discharged an air weapon at him causing some injuries to his face. The offenders, described as all wearing dark clothing, are believed to have made off on foot.

Chief Inspector Phil Thompson said: “To be confronted by four masked men in the middle of the night is extremely frightening and has left the victim feeling understandably shaken up. It is completely unacceptable for someone’s property to be broken into and we want to do all we can to support the victim and find those responsible.
