Man arrested following incident on Lark Lane

Merseyside Police can confirm a man was arrested last night (Friday, 5 April) following an incident outside Keith’s Wine Bar, Lark Lane.

Officers were called at 10.50pm to reports a man was damaging property and in possession of a knife.

A 60-year-old man from Sefton Park was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of a bladed article, he remains in police custody at this time.

Damage was caused to the windows of the bar but there are no reports of anyone being injured.
