Man arrested following jewellery theft in Liverpool City Centre
Detectives investigating a high-value theft from a Liverpool City Centre jewellers have arrested a man in connection with the offence.
At around midday on Sunday 31 August, jewellery was stolen from Beaverbrooks in St Johns Precinct, leading to extensive enquiries, including a CCTV appeal.
A 51-year-old man from Widnes in Cheshire has now been arrested on suspicion of theft and taken to a police station for questioning.
