Man charged following investigation into romance fraud

Officers have charged a 31 year old man with fraud and blackmail following an on going investigation into ‘Romance Fraud’.

Ivan Nkazi, from Liverpool was arrested after a warrant was executed at his home address yesterday (7th March).

He was later charged with six counts of fraud by false representation and three counts of blackmail. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Adult Remand Court this morning (8th March).
