Officers appeal for witness following armed robbery at off licence

Armed Police Officers are currently in attendance of Kirkstone Road North, Sefton following reports of a robbery.

We were alerted at around 2.30pm this afternoon (17^th June) to reports that a man had entered an off licence with a knife where he demanded money from two female staff members.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 10 wearing a dark grey jumper with a white shirt underneath, an Everton scarf, black Nike trousers and black trainers.

Fortunately no one injured, however the offender made off with a sum of money towards Anderson Way.

Officers remain at the scene carrying out house to house, CCTV and forensic analysis. Anyone that witnessed the robbery or has information that could help us identify the offender, please DM @MerPolCC or call 101 quoting log 547 of 17th June.
