Seven charged with drug supply after raids in South Sefton

Detectives investigating a suspected drug supply conspiracy in South Sefton have charged seven males with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

Officers carried out 10 warrants and arrested eight people on Thursday 27 June, as part of an investigation into conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis across South Sefton.

Warrants were carried out by officers at addresses in Bootle, Litherland, Seaforth, Netherton and one in Crewe, and a significant quantity of suspected Class A drugs was seized.

Seven males have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs (cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin) and a Class B controlled drug (cannabis resin) and have been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 26 July:

  • Luke William Walsh, 25 years, of Cumpsty Road, Litherland
  • Ryan Boorne, 20 years, of Overton Close, Westvale, Kirkby
  • A 16-year-old male from Crewe
  • Thomas Anthony Maloney, 32 years, of Hawthorne Road, Bootle
  • Thomas Clucas, 22 years, of Benedict Street, Bootle
  • David Cunningham, 35 years, of Brownmoor Lane, Crosby
  • James Senior, 46 years, of Daley Road, Litherland
  • A 30-year-old man from Bootle was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a Class B drug (cannabis) and a 53-year-old man from Litherland arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs have been released under investigation.
