Appeal after pedestrian left critical following collision

Detectives are appealing for the driver of a car involved in collision, which left a pedestrian critically injured in Manor House to contact them immediately.

Police were called to Seven Sisters Road junction with Amhurst Park, N15 at 19:07hrs on Friday 25 December following reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended and the male pedestrian, aged 24, was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.

The driver of the light coloured car did not stop at the scene of the accident whilst travelling eastbound towards Tottenham.

Detective Sergeant, Chris Osbourne from the Roads and Transport Policing Command said: “We are studying CCTV footage and carrying out all appropriate checks on the car seen to be involved. I am confident we will trace the driver but would urge them to contact police right away regarding this incident.”
