​Appeal after woman sexually assaulted on a bus in Islington

Detectives have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an allegation that a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus in Islington.

The incident occurred on Sunday 6 November 2016 at approximately 17:00hrs on a Route 341 bus in the vicinity of Islington Green, N1.

The victim - a 24-year-old woman - was sat on the upper deck. The suspect, who was sitting behind her, inappropriately touched her. The victim turned to challenge the suspect but he quickly exited the bus.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his late 40s with greying hair. He wore dark clothing, believed to be a suit.

The incident is being investigated by detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command.
