Appeal following a serious collision in Enfield

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a cyclist and a van on the North Circular Road.

On Sunday, 8 May at approximately 11:30hrs, a cyclist and a tipper van were in collision on the westbound carriageway of the A406, Bowes Road, near the junction with Brownlow Road, N13.

The cyclist, a 20-year-old male, was taken to an east London hospital. His injuries are described as life-threatening.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene and assisted police with their enquiries - he was not arrested.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Unit are investigating. Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision asked to call Police on 020 8597 4874.
