Appeal following assault in Kingston

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following an assault in Kingston.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 22:36hrs on Wednesday, 11 January to reports of an injured man in the park area close to Blagdon Road in New Malden.

The man, believed to be aged in his late teens, was taken by LAS to a south London hospital suffering from injuries to his chest. He remains in a stable condition and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives from Kingston CID are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the assault.
