Appeal following Camden collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Camden.

Police were called at around 19:20hrs on Friday, 27 May to reports of a car in collision with a cyclist on Theobald Road at the junction with Clerkenwell Road, EC1.

Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended.

The 40-year-old cyclist was taken to an east London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene.

Detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
