Appeal following collision at Colney Hatch Lane

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses to come forward after two girls were injured in a road traffic collision.

Police were called at 1844hrs on Thursday, 31 August, to reports of two pedestrians having been in collision with a Ford Fusion at Colney Hatch Lane.

The pedestrians, two girls aged 12 and 14, were taken to an east London Hospital by London Ambulance Service and HEMS air ambulance. Their injuries have been deemed critical and their families have been notified.

The driver stopped at the scene. No arrests.

Road closures are in place and disruption to local traffic is expected. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes.
