Appeal following collision in Westminster

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Westminster.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at approximately 18:05hrs on Wednesday, 16 November to reports of a van in collision with a man on a mobility scooter on Millbank, close to the junction with Great College Road, SW1.

Officers attended and the man, aged in his late 80s, was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver stopped at the scene.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision.
