Appeal following fatal collision on A406, Brent

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a man died in a collision in Brent.

Police were called at 05:51hrs on Friday, 18 August to the A406, North Circular Road at the junction with Neasden Lane, NW10.

A HGV had been in collision with a pedestrian

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended; the 45-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed but formal identification awaits.

A post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

The driver of the HGV involved stopped at the scene of the collision and has been assisting police with their enquires.

No one has been arrested in relation to this collision. Officers from the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
