Appeal following fight on bus

Officers from the Lambeth Safer Transport Team are appealing for help in identifying two men following an incident on a bus in Brixton. 

On Tuesday, 7 April at about 03:30hrs, police were called to a fight on a Route 159 bus on Brixton Road, SW9. 

When police arrived the suspects had already left and no injured parties came forward.

CCTV footage from the bus shows a number of people fighting and an elderly man being knocked over during the incident. 

Officers are keen to identify two men who boarded the bus armed with bottles and attacked around six other men, before making off.

Suspect One is described as a bald black man, who was wearing a white T-shirt.

Suspect Two is described as a black man, with short hair. He wore a white shirt and light coloured jacket. 

Anyone who was on the bus at the time of the incident or has any information, is urged to call police via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 1210282/15.

A 21-year-old man has been interviewed under caution in connection with the incident.
