Appeal following Hounslow assault

Detectives in Hounslow are appealing for information and witnesses after a woman was seriously assaulted.

On the evening of Thursday, 13 July, the 33-year-old woman was alone in Lampton Park when she was attacked by a man in an unprovoked, vicious and sustained assault.

A member of the public intervened and the suspect fled from the park.

Police are keen to speak with this member of the public and anyone else who has any information that may assist the investigation.

The suspect is described as an Asian man, aged between 30 and 40 years old, about 5ft 11in tall and of slim build. At the time of the offence he was wearing all back including a T-shirt with white writing on it.
