Appeal following serious collision on Seven Sisters Road

Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious collision in Seven Sisters.

Police were called to Seven Sisters Road junction with Thane Villas, N7 at 13:15hrs on Monday, 6 February following reports of a road traffic collision.

Officers, London Ambulance Service attended and found a car in collision with a moped.

The driver of the moped - a man aged in his twenties - has been taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene of the collision and received minor injuries.

He is assisting police with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Local road closures are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
