Appeal following sexual assault

Detectives from Wandsworth Borough investigating a sexual assault have issued CCTV footage of a male they wish to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.

On Sunday, 25 September, police were called at around 18:45hrs to Deodar Road, SW15, after a 27-year-old woman out jogging was sexually assaulted.

As the victim was running along Deodar Road, she was listening to music and became aware of man trying to touch her.

When she turned around he then sexually assaulted her. He then rode off towards Wandsworth Park.

The suspect [image ref 226616] is described as a black in his teens, wearing a dark and grey hooded top, dark blue jeans and black trainers. He was seen riding a dark coloured mountain bike.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise or witness the teenager shown on CCTV.
