Appeal following sexual assault at bus stop

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for help to identify a man they wish to speak to after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at a bus stop in Enfield.

On Wednesday, 29 July, at approximately 21:15hrs, a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man as she waited at a bus stop on Church Street, Edmonton.

The man is described as a white, aged about 19-years-old and has short blond hair.

Officers are releasing a CCTV image and are asking anyone with any information to contact DC Anthony Okadigbo on 07787 669278 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference 186377.

Unwanted sexual behaviour on the transport network is not tolerated and all sexual offences are taken very seriously.
