Appeal following sexual assault on bus

Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for help to identify a man after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus in Westminster. 

On Wednesday, 3 June at about 09:10hrs, a 33-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man as she travelled on a Route 436 bus on Wilton Road, Westminster. 

The suspect is described as a black man, aged about 50 years, of medium build with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and brown khaki trousers; he got on the bus at the Oval in Kennington. 

Officers are releasing a CCTV image and ask anyone with information to contact DC Dan Kelly on 07766 248282 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference 182311.

Unwanted sexual behaviour on the transport network is not tolerated and all sexual offences are taken very seriously.
