Appeal following shooting in South Norwood

Detectives from the Met's Trident and Area Crime Command are appealing for witnesses following a non-fatal shooting in South Norwood.

On Tuesday, 29 December, at about 02:00hrs, a 43-year-old man attended University Hospital Croydon (formerly known as the Mayday) with multiple gunshot wounds.

He remains in a south London hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers believe the man was shot in Belgrave Road, South Norwood shortly before arriving at hospital.

Detectives investigating are keen to speak to anyone who attended a party on South Norwood High Street late on Monday, 28 December as they may hold vital information that could assist police with their investigation.
