Appeal following stabbing in Streatham

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Streatham.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) shortly after 23:00hrs on Tuesday, 3 May to reports of a man suffering stab injuries on Mount Nod Road, SW16.

Officers attended and the 21-year-old man was taken by LAS to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

At this stage, officers believe that the male suspect arrived at the scene of the assault in a silver Ford Focus. A number of people are believed to have been in the car with him.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
