Appeal following stabbing in White City

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in west London.

Police were called at approximately 17:45hrs on Friday, 5 January to a report of a stabbing at Westway near the junction with Bentworth Road in White City, W12.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended. A 16-year-old boy was found suffering from a stab injury.

He was taken to hospital by the LAS and remains in a serious but stable condition.

Detectives from Hammersmith and Fulham are investigating.

They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault which took place near a busy road that was congested at the time.
