UPDATED: Appeal for information after teenager shot in Isleworth

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a teenager was shot in Isleworth.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service [LAS] to London Road, Isleworth at 1917hrs on Saturday, 9 February, to reports of an injured male.

Officers attended. At the scene a 17-year-old male was receiving treatment from medics for gunshot wounds. The injured male was taken by LAS to a west London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Trident officers are investigating alongside colleagues from the West Area Command Unit.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue. At this early stage officers retain an open mind concerning motive.
