Appeal for information following Shepherd's Bush stabbing

Detectives in Hammersmith and Fulham are appealing for information and witnesses following a stabbing in Bentworth Road, W12.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at approximately 16:00hrs on Monday, 20 February to reports of a man suffering a stab wound to his left leg.

Officers and LAS attended the scene and found the 25-year-old victim lying face down in the middle of Bentworth Road receiving assistance from members of the public.

He was conscious and breathing but was taken immediately to a central London hospital by LAS for his injuries and required surgery. His injures are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham CID are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.
