Appeal for witnesses to 'smash-and-grab' at watch shop

Flying Squad detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a 'smash-and-grab' robbery at a watch shop in central London.

On Thursday, 19 January police were called at around 11:00hrs to reports of men on mopeds smashing windows and taking items at the Chronext store in Piccadilly, W1.

Four people on two mopeds made off from the scene with a quantity of goods.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Detectives from the Flying Squad are investigating and are appealing for witnesses and any one with any information about the incident to contact them.
