Appeal: Man aged 77 critical following collision in Hayes

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a 77-year-old man was left in a critical condition following a collision in Hayes.

Police were called at 18:25hrs on 16 January to reports of a road traffic collision in Uxbridge Road, UB4 between a car and a pedestrian.

London Ambulance Service also attended.

The 77-year-old pedestrian was treated at the scene before being taken to a west London hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Next of kin have been informed.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton Traffic Garage are appealing for any witnesses that did not contact police at the time to come forward.
