Appeal to identify two men over Romford commercial burglary

Police in Havering Borough have released CCTV footage of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a commercial burglary in Romford.

On 14 December 2016, police were called shortly after 04:45hrs to reports of a burglary at Next on Gallows Corner by Southend Arterial Road.

CCTV caught the moment two men filed the door lock to open the doors and gain access into the store. Once inside, the two men took over £3,000 worth of items and left through the rear fire exit door.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1 [ref: 234496] is described as a white man, aged in his 30s. He was wearing a purple and white snood, a dark green body warmer over a black jacket, blue jeans and grey trainers. He was seen wearing light coloured gloves.

Suspect 2 [ref: 234497] is described as a white man, aged in his 30s. He was wearing a black hooded coat, grey trousers and faded brown boots

Detective Constable Stephen Wright, from Havering Borough, said: 

"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen three men acting suspiciously outside the store at the time to contact us."
