Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for help in identifying a man who was seen masturbating at a bus stop in Bromley.

The incident occurred on Saturday 15 August at about 21:00hrs at a bus stop on South Road, at the junction with Boundary Street, Erith.

The suspect is described as a white man, approx 40 years old, who was wearing grey shorts, black trainers and a blue hooded top at the time.

Police officers are releasing a CCTV image of the suspect and ask anyone with information to contact Police Constable Natalie Baynes on 07826 536166 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 187820.

Unwanted sexual behaviour on the transport network is not tolerated and all sexual offences are taken very seriously.

The Met Police recently jointly launched the Report it to stop it campaign with Transport for London, the British Transport Police and City of London Police, which aims to further increase the reporting of unwanted sexual behaviour on public transport in the capital.
