Appeal to trace men following suspected burglary

Detectives from Tower Hamlets Borough who are investigating a suspected burglary at an address have issued CCTV footage of two men they wish to identify and speak with in connection with the incident.

On Monday, 18 April, police were called at around 21:30hrs to a report of a burglary at Galley Apartments on Stainsby Road, Westferry.

The burglary was reported to have occurred at some point between 18:30 and 21:30hrs on Monday, 18 April. A fire door was damaged. It is unclear at this stage whether anything was taken.

CCTV within the apartments caught two suspects. They are described as:

'Suspect 1' [ref: 211700] is described as a white man, aged in his 20s, with a brown beard. He was wearing a blue and grey zipped jacket, a dark baseball cap with white lettering, grey trousers and dark coloured trainers with white soles.

'Suspect 2' [ref: 211701] is described as a clean shaven white man, aged in his 20s with fair hair. He was wearing a blue hooded top, blue jeans and dark coloured shoes.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the two men shown on CCTV or who witnessed the incident.
